In many liberated areas of Ukraine, people lack the essentials to feed themselves. By distributing seeds, we enable them to grow fresh and healthy food – an important step back towards self-sufficiency.
Ukraine has a long tradition of agriculture, but the war has destroyed much of it. People returning home face the problem that they lack seeds and many of their tools have been destroyed during the occupation. Without these resources, they cannot grow their own food and become self-sufficient.
We support families and communities in resuming their self-sufficiency and securing their food supply in the long term.
Our project aims to strengthen the food security and economic self-sufficiency of the residents of affected communities. By providing seeds and preservation kits, we are helping affected individuals to rebuild their agricultural livelihoods. The project makes an important contribution to local resilience and to reducing dependence on humanitarian aid.
